Detailed Solution

A political theory is known as Conservatism emphasiszes tradition, enduring institutions, and established practices while favouring slow growth over rapid change.
After Napoleon was defeated in 1815, Conservatism became the driving force behind European governments. Conservatives held that long-standing, conventional institutions of government and society, such as the monarchy, the Church, social strata, individual property rights, and the family, should be upheld. However, the majority of conservatives did not advocate going back to the society that existed before the revolution. Instead, they saw that modernization might actually strengthen established institutions like the monarchy thanks to the changes brought about by Napoleon. It might increase the strength and effectiveness of state power. The eradication of feudalism and serfdom, a modern army, effective administration, a brisk economy, and other factors may support an authoritarian government.
