Detailed Solution

Proto-industrialisation in the early industrialisation phase was not based on the European factory system but was a family-engaged production.
The regional development, alongside agriculture, produced handicrafts and goods for the markets. They did not use external labour or workers to provide an alternative source of income. Instead, merchants and traders visited villages to offer money and collect finished goods. This phase helped them to increase their earnings.
