What does ‘One person, one vote’ means?

‘One person, one vote’ means that everyone in the country irrespective of their caste, color, gender, creed and income earned is allowed to vote for his own representative, i.e., the choice and opportunity are available to all the citizens on an equal basis without any discrimination on the basis of gender, caste, color, etc.
