Detailed Solution

Satyagraha means following the path of truth and non-violence. The concept of satyagraha has emphasised the importance of truth and the need to seek it. It suggested that if the cause was good, if the war was for justice, no physical force was needed to fight the oppressor. Satyagrahi may win an argument by not playing without seeking revenge or arguing. This can be accomplished by touching the oppressor's conscience; instead of being forced to accept the truth about violence, ordinary people, including oppressors, need to be encouraged to see it. The fact must be won because of this incredible and historical war. Mahatma Gandhi believed that the dharma of non-violence could unite all Indians.
