What does the word jungli mean which is used to refer to the adivasis?

Adivasis are very simple people that live in almost all the states in India. Adivasis are the people of the forest. They live a very simple life. They wear extremely simple clothes and eat food that is available locally. They are mostly engaged in simple day-to-day activities to sustain their lives. As a livelihood means, adivasis are engaged in hunting, herding, food gathering, weaving, etc. They mostly depend on forest resources and products to earn their livelihood. They live a traditional and simple life and hence are termed as jungli meaning uncivilised due to their gap with the mainland of India.
