Detailed Solution

Poland was partitioned at the end of the 18th century by three Great Powers: Russia, Prussia, and Austria.
Prussia, Russia, and Austria, three powerful nations, divided Poland at the end of the eighteenth century. This division meant that Poland was no longer a sovereign nation. However, the nationalism message and the development of a sense of solidarity among the Polish people, both benefited greatly from the use of the Polish language at this time.
The Polish Partitions resulted in three divisions of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth that took place almost at the end of the 18th century, putting an end to the state. This however caused both Poland and Lithuania to be without a sovereign state for 123 years.
In the 18th century, Poland's diplomatic and military fortunes continued to deteriorate. Russia had a vested interest in keeping Poland fragmented and weak.
