Detailed Solution

When the saturated solution is allowed to cool, the substance dissolved in the solution starts precipitating from the solution, and crystals of pure substance form. It happens due to the solubility difference of the substance. Generally, suppose we decrease the temperature of the solution. In that case, the solubility of the substance also decreases, which means that at a lower temperature, fewer molecules of the substance will be dissolved, and the rest will come out from the solution.
