Concept: The Loop of Henle generates a region of great urea attention deep in the medulla, near the papillary duct in the collecting duct system, utilising a  countercurrent system that uses electrolyte pumps.
Water in the filtrate flows out of the duct through aquaporin channels in the papillary duct, passively flowing down its concentration gradient. This system reabsorbs water and produces urine for excretion that's concentrated. In the thin thrusting limb of Henle's Loop, the water is impermeable, but it's permeable to ions.
