What is a bond between two amino acids called?

Many amino acids chained to each other form the primary structure of a protein. 

The chains of amino acids are formed when the carboxyl group of one amino acid reacts with the amino group of another amino acid resulting in the formation of a covalent bond between the two amino acids. This is accompanied by the release of a water molecule. Such types of covalent bonds are called peptide bonds.
