Detailed Solution

Jamdani is a fabric.
European textile market for cotton and silk. The most popular textiles were from India. Indian textiles, like Vandana, Jamdani, and Coasses, were in high demand in western markets due to their fine quality and skill. In England and Europe, printed Indian cotton textiles were extremely popular. Because they were relatively inexpensive on the market, the delicate texture was especially in demand for floral designs.
The name Jamdani is Persian in origin and derives from the words jam, which means flower, and Dani, which means vase. On the loom, ornate designs are generally woven into the fine muslin known as jamdani, which is typically made of grey and white. Additionally, cotton and gold thread were frequently used in combination. Jamdani weaving was mostly centred on Dacca, Bengal, and Lucknow, United Provinces.
