Detailed Solution

Concept- In meteorology, a cyclone is a large air mass that rotates around a strong centre of low atmospheric pressure, counter clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere as viewed from above. Cyclones are characterised by inward-spiralling winds that rotate about a zone of low pressure.
Typhoons are natural disasters which occur in the northern hemisphere of the earth.
A cyclone is a tropical cyclone. The area in which it occurs is called the Pacific Northwest Basin which is the most active tropical basin on earth and it is responsible for 1/3rd of the annual tropical cyclones all around the world.
Hence, option 3 is correct.
