Detailed Solution

Indentured labour is bonded labour. The indentured labour system emerged after slavery was abolished to meet the demands of plantations, mines, etc. In this system, labourers were hired under a contract called to work in distant countries for a specific time and paid off their voyage to a foreign country or home using their salary. In the 19th century, indentured labour came into existence as a new system of slavery. They work as indentured labour to earn more money. Overall the labourers' lives became one of great misery.
