The active resistance of Satyagrah means that one does not inflict any pain, Truth is the substance of the soul, and It does not mean distraction of any kind. Mahatma Gandhi also believed that Satyagraha,i.e., the Truth, is the substance of the soul, so it is Satyagraha's substance. Satyagraha does not mean that a person has destructive thoughts. Still, it means clearing the mind of adversaries, converting all destructive thoughts into constructive thoughts, and showing them honesty, love, and compassion. By applying all these methods during any movements, revolts, protests, or demonstrations, we can say that Satyagraha is active resistance without any show or use of violence.
