Detailed Solution

Concept- The capacity of the pollen to transfer the male gametes they create to the embryo sac for pollination is known as pollen viability.
When pollen is viable, it can reach maturity, fertilise, and then have the capacity to mature into seeds and fruits. Pollen grains are the male gametophytes. They are produced in anthers' microsporangia and released when the anther dehisces. The process of creating microspores from a pollen mother cell is known as microsporogenesis. Each pollen mother cell divides meiotically to produce haploid microspore tetrads. Because each sporogenous tissue cell can create microspores, each microsporangium can hold thousands of pollen grains as opposed to just one embryo sac in an ovule.
Hence, the correct answer is option 2.
