Detailed Solution

Advaita philosophy talks about the doctrine of the oneness of the individual soul and the doctrine of the oneness of the Supreme God. Shankara, one of India's most significant philosophers, was born in Kerala in the seventh century. He endorsed the Advaita philosophy, according to which the Supreme God, who is the Absolute Reality, and each soul are indivisible. His philosophy holds that Brahman, which has no attributes and no form, is the only Ultimate Reality. To understand the true nature of Brahman and achieve salvation, he promoted renunciation of the material world and the pursuit of knowledge, considering the world to be an illusion, or Maya.
