Detailed Solution

Vidhan Sabha is another name for the State Legislative Assemblies in India.
The state legislative assembly, called Vidhan sabha, is a legislative body that makes laws at the state level in India. There are twenty-four states and three union territories where the unicameral legislature is only the Vidhan Sabha, which is the only law-making body. The rest of the six states have bicameral legislatures in which Vidhan Sabha is the lower house, and the state legislative council is the upper house. The members of the State Legislative Assembly or the Vidhan sabha are elected by the people on a five-year basis and can be re-elected in the next elections. A State Legislative Assembly can have a maximum of 500 members and a minimum of 60 members.
