Detailed Solution

National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) is the court that handles consumer disputes at the national level. District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission handles disputes at the district level, while State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission does so at the state level. The consumer dissatisfied with the district forum has the right to reapply in the above courts. The three-tier quasi-judicial machinery was set up under the Consumer Protection Act in 1985 to protect the consumers' rights.
