What is the difference between renewable and non-renewable resources?

Renewable resources are those that can be used again and again because nature can replace them quickly. Examples are sunlight, wind, and water. They are endless, and if we use them wisely, they will never run out. Non-renewable resources, on the other hand, are limited. Once they are used up, they cannot be replaced easily. Examples are coal, petroleum, and natural gas. These take millions of years to form, and we are using them too fast. That is why scientists encourage us to use renewable resources like solar power and wind energy instead of depending on non-renewable ones.
