 2. Bisexual Flowers

  • Have both stamens and carpels in the same flower.
  • Can carry out self-pollination or cross-pollination.
  • Common in hermaphroditic plants.
  • Examples: Rose, hibiscus, mustard, sunflower.

Summary:

Unisexual flowers = one sex → need another flower for reproduction.
Bisexual flowers = both sexes → can reproduce on their own.
