Detailed Solution

The fee for MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) NEET UG counselling consists of two components: a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit. The amounts vary based on the type of institution and candidate category:

  • For 15% All India Quota (AIQ) or Central Universities:
    • General/UR candidates: ₹1,000 registration fee and ₹10,000 security deposit.
    • SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates: ₹500 registration fee and ₹5,000 security deposit.
  • For Deemed Universities (all categories): ₹5,000 registration fee and ₹2,00,000 security deposit.

The registration fee is non-refundable, while the security deposit is refundable if you do not take a seat or withdraw after the counselling rounds. Payment is accepted only through online modes such as Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. There is no option for offline or UPI payments.
