Detailed Solution

The image distance of a converging mirror which forms a real image of height of 4 cm to an object of height 1cm placed 20 cm away from the mirror, will be -80 cm.
Given,
Distance of  the object from the mirror, = -20 cm
Height of the object,h0 = 1 cm
Height of the image, hi = 4 cm
Since ho and hi is given by using the magnification formula.
m=hiho= -vu
hiho= -vu
-41= -v(-20)
= - 80 cm
