Economic discrimination is based on economic factors like the availability of jobs, income level, prices of goods and services, and other economic resources like business establishments, financial conditions, etc. Poverty is the main reason for economic discrimination. Lack of resources due to poor financial conditions creates bases for economic disparity. Due to poverty, parents don’t want to make their children educated and, thus, engage them in odd jobs at such a tender age instead of sending them to school. Lack of literacy causes a lack of well-paid jobs, and illiterate people continue to work on low wages. In contrast, educated people get intellectual high-paid employment and set up their own business houses. All this causes a wide gap between the rich and the poor, the educated and the illiterate. Poor people continue to suffer because of poverty and lack of good financial resources while the rich get richer.
