 Number of moles of nitrogen= 5

Formula:

Number of moles  = Mass of substance (m)Molar mass of given substance (M)

Solution:

 Molar mass of Nitrogen atom (M)= 14g

Nitrogen is diatomic so, molar mass of N2 = 14X 2 = 28g

Number of moles of nitrogen = Mass of nitrogen (m)Molar mass of nitrogen (M)

                                                  5 =  m28

                                                   5X28  =  m

                                                m =  140g

Mass of 5 moles of N2  gas = 140g.
