Fourteen years is the minimum age for a child to work in any factory or mine. A child cannot work in a mine or workplace until they are fourteen years old. The Constitution forbids child labour as well. No one is allowed to hire a youngster under the age of fourteen to work in a factory, mine, or any other hazardous job, such as on the railroad or in a port. On the basis of this, numerous regulations have been passed that forbid kids from working in fields, including beedi production, the manufacture of firecrackers and matches, printing, and dyeing.
