Detailed Solution

Hydrogen has an atomic mass of 1u, sulphur has a mass of  32u and oxygen has an atomic mass of 16 u. H2SO4 is the chemical formula for sulphuric acid.

Molecular mass of sulphuric acid :

 = 2 X atomic mass of hydrogen+ 1 X atomic mass of sulphur + 4 X atomic mass of oxygen

                                                     =  2X 1 + 1X 32 + 4X16

                                                      =   2+32+64

                                                       =98 u

The molecular mass of sulphuric acid is 98 u.
