Detailed Solution

Rural local government, which is the third tier of governance in India, is also popularly called by the name of the Panchayati Raj institutions.
The Constitution of India has three tiers of government to India - the Central Government, the State Government, and the local self-government. The decentralisation of power was recognized by the Constitution through a constitutional amendment made in 1992. At the village level - Gram panchayat, at the block level-  Block Samiti, and at the district level- Zila Parishad were made. This local government structure goes right up which means from the village to the district level. Each level works in coordination with the other.
