Detailed Solution

The native language of Kerala people is Malayalam, which is spoken all across the state.
In South India, each state has different languages. For example, Tamil Nadu state has the Tamil language as the native language; Karnataka has Kannada as the native language. Maharashtra has Marathi as the majority language, and Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have Telugu as the majority speaking the language. It is said that each language has its history and culture, and most of the present South Indian languages have their origin in Tamil literature. Interestingly Malayalam is the youngest language which also originated from Tamil literature. Hence one can find the diversity of languages in South India which gives vibrant colour to the cultural development.
