Given that AED is a semi-circle and ABCD is a rectangle.

Circumference of circle =

2 π r

Perimeter of given shape = sum of all the sides.
Circumference of semicircle will be,

= 2 π r 2 = π r = 227 × 142 = 22 cm

Perimeter of given figure will be,

= A B + B C + C D + D E A = 20 + 14 + 20 + D E A

We know that AED is the semicircle, then,

= 20 + 14 + 20 + 22 = 76 cm
