Given,
Current passing through the circuit, = 2 A
RAB= 2 Ω   [RAB, RBC= resistances]
RBC= 4 Ω Potential difference between B and C is given by,
         = I × R    [Where V= voltage; I= current and R= resistances]
=>VBc= IBC × RBC =>VBc= 2 × 4 =>VBc= 8 V So, the Potential difference between B and C is 8 V.
