Detailed Solution

The relation between magnification, height of the image, height of the object is m=Hh.
Magnification produced by a spherical mirror or lenses gives the comparative  range upto to which the image of an object is enlarged with respect to the object size. It is expressed as the ratio of the image's height to the object's height. It is usually written by the letter m. Magnification is also related to image distance and object distance, therefore it may be stated as m=vu Where v= image distance and  u=object distance.
