Detailed Solution

The idea of the non-cooperation movement was accepted at the Nagpur session of Congress held in December 1920. Many of the Congress members were anxious about the proposals. They were going to boycott the council elections of November 1920. There was no meeting point between the movement's supporters and the opposition. So, at the Nagpur Congress session in December 1920, a compromise was made in which they accepted a non-cooperation movement. The ideology of the movement was the adoption of the principles of Swadeshi and supporting the handweavers and swadeshi habits. The Non-Cooperation movement was a non-violent movement in which the key points were to boycott international goods and civil services, courts, councils, and schools.
