Detailed Solution

Silk Route was an ancient network path connecting China to middle and far eastern Europe. “Silk routes” linked the pre-modern world through them. These were trade routes through which import and export commodities included Indian textiles and spices. It is also the same path through which China’s pottery travelled the world. The silk route connects over land and by sea, Asia with Europe and northern Africa. It was also at the intersecting points of this route that Buddhism, a religion born in India, travelled to various corners of the world.
