Cholecystokinin (CCK) is released from endocrinal cells of duodenum. It acts on the liver and pancreas.

CCK stimulates secretion of pancreatic juice rich in digestive enzymes, causes ejection of bile from gallbladder and opening of sphincter of the hepatopancreatic ampulla (sphincter of Oddi), induces satiety (feeling full to satisfaction).
