From the AP, we get that,
a = 1 and d = 2.
We know that sum of first n terms of an AP is given as,
Sn=n2[2a+(n-1)d].
So, the sum of first 12 terms of the AP will be,
 S12=122[2×1+(12-1)2] ⇒S12=6×[2+11×2]
⇒S12=6[2+22] ⇒S12=144 Therefore, the sum of first 12 odd numbers is 144.
