We have been given an angle whose seven times its complement is

10 °

less than three times its supplement.
Complementary angles are a pair of angles whose total is equal to

90 °

and supplementary angles are a pair of angles whose total is equal to

Let the angle to be x and its complement as

900 − x

and supplement as

1800 − x
