Detailed Solution

when we talk about equilibrium basically Gibbs free energy becomes zero i.e., ΔG=0.so option A is correct. Second option says the reaction cease at equilibrium if we have two reactants A and B it gives C and D. A + B C+ D so in equilibrium rate of forward reaction is equal to rate of backward reaction so there is no net reaction neither concentration of product nor reactants concentration changes it doesn’t mean reaction has been stopped it’s just we don’t see any new products or reactants so option (B) statement is wrong. It is correct to say equilibrium constant is independent of initial concentration of reactants so option and also catalyst s no effect on equilibrium state.

So, option (B) is wrong about equilibrium state that is the reaction cease at equilibrium because it never cease because equilibrium is dynamic in nature.
