Detailed Solution

Mahatma Gandhi wants children to learn Dignity and respect, and Handicraft. He argued that literacy is not the only important factor and that kids should learn practical handicrafts to make things independently. He added that teaching handicrafts should include both mechanical and scientific principles. Among those who opposed western education was Mahatma Gandhi. He desired an alternative to the current western education system for Indians, who do not view it as superior. He urged students to quit their classes to prove to the British that Indians were not ready to become enslaved. Gandhi favoured using Indian languages in the classroom.
