Precautions to be taken while we are out of the house during lightning are do not stand under a lightning rod which can be a pole or a tall tree, stand away from any other water body, stay away from tractors or other metal equipment like wire fences, metal pipes, rails, etc. Moreover, stay off wired phones and other electrical equipment because we can come in direct contact with electricity.
