Detailed Solution

New boundaries between India and Pakistan restricted the movement of Raikas.
Pastoralists used different approaches to respond to these developments. Since there was not enough pasture to support huge herds, several people restricted the number of cattle in their herds. Others found other pastures when access to their previous grazing areas became challenging. For example, the camel and sheep herding Raikas could not enter Sindh after 1947 to continue grazing their camels along the Indus River's banks. Their march was halted by the newly established political borders between India and Pakistan. So they were forced to look for new locations. They have been moving to Haryana recently so that sheep can graze in agricultural areas after the harvest is cut.
