The transportation resource used by the Banjaras was Bullock carts.
The Banjaras were trader-nomads who traveled from place to place. Their caravan was known as Tanda. They owned oxen and used them to pull bullock carts as their means of transport. They traveled only in cool weather and about 7 miles a day. The Banjaras transported grains like wheat and rice. From there, the carts get reloaded with anything profitable. Merchants hired the Banjaras for their transportation services. However, most of them were merchants who bought grains from places with low prices. They then carried the grains to the places that had higher places for profit.
