What type of fuel do most rockets use?

Most rockets use either liquid or solid propellants as fuel. Liquid-fueled rockets typically use a combination of liquid oxygen (oxidizer) and liquid hydrogen or kerosene (fuel). These provide high efficiency and allow control of thrust during flight.
