Detailed Solution

Asexual reproduction is a mode of reproduction that does not involve the fusion of gametes (sex cells) to form a new organism.

Budding is a type of asexual reproduction in which a new organism develops from an outgrowth or bud due to cell division at one particular site.

In Budding the small bulb-like projection that comes out from the parent's body of an organism called a bud is formed.

The bud will separate from the parent organism once it reaches a particular size and begins to grow into a new organism.
