Detailed Solution

A monarchical rule was carried out during Napoleon's time in France.
Napoleon Bonaparte emerged as a dictator who crowned himself emperor as a result of the years of bloodshed in France. He progressed through the army ranks to become the First Consul, the nation's top official. He gained more regions for France through his military tactics, and in December 1804, he proclaimed himself emperor. Napoleon helped France grow into a significant force in Europe. It was more of an autocratic monarchy than a constitutional one. He was exiled when the Dutch of Wellington beat him at the illustrious Battle of Waterloo. Napoleon brought order back to France. He implemented new laws known as the Napoleonic Code and altered the taxation structure.
