What used to carry water to different places in the Golconda Fort?

In the olden days, arrangements were made to transport water from the rivers, canals or streams to the tanks present in the palace premises. The same was the case for the Golconda Fort. Both animals and people were involved in carrying the water to the fort's tanks. Water was then circulated or distributed to different parts of the fort with the help of clay pipes.
