Detailed Solution

Mensheviks' ideology was Capitalism.
One of the three main groups in the Russian socialist movement—the others being the Bolsheviks and Socialist Revolutionaries—was the Mensheviks. The divisions were created in 1903 due to a disagreement between Julius Martov and Vladimir Lenin within the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party. Before and during the Russian Revolution, a member of a Russian Social Democratic party faction opposed the Bolsheviks and believed in the gradual establishment of socialism by legislative means. On the other hand, most socialists who wanted revolution were represented by the Bolsheviks. In contrast to the Mensheviks, who saw the need for cooperation with the bourgeoisie (capitalists and industrialists), the Bolsheviks held that only a revolution led and controlled by the proletariat was necessary.
