Detailed Solution

The age bar to voting for the National Assembly during the French Revolution is 25. The National Assembly was indirectly elected and was granted legislative authority under the Constitution of 1791. In other words, the Assembly was chosen by the electors elected by the general populace. But not every citizen was able to cast a ballot. Only men over 25 who paid taxes that were at least equal to three days of a worker's income were awarded the status of "active citizens," which included the right to vote. All the remaining men and women were classified as passive citizens.
