Detailed Solution

The Bhitargaon temple is composed of stones and baked bricks.
In a country like India, the practice of baking soil is quite old. The faces of Indian architecture allude to the exquisite terracotta and brick patterns. The earliest terracotta temple comes from the late Gupta period. The present-day temples were built mostly of stones and had flat roofs during the Gupta dynasty. Bhitargaon was the first and finest illustration of a temple with a towering shikhara or trapezoidal shape. It also included a garbha-griha, or inner sanctuary, as it is generally known. This particular trait developed into a nagara-style norm. In addition to its shikhara style, the temple was notable for its usage of medieval texts such as Manasara.
