Detailed Solution

Stalin's collectivization program was the merger of small, privately owned farmers with larger, state-run, known as the Kolkhoz farms. Stalin's Collectivization Program for Russian peasants had five components. One of them was that Stalin compelled all peasants to work in kolkhoz collective farms. A large portion of the land and equipment was given to community farms. The profits from the kolkhoz were divided among the peasants who cultivated the land. Peasants were so outraged that they attacked the officials and killed their livestock.
