Detailed Solution

role and led to many issues with the monarch. This National Assembly drafted a Constitution in 1791. The objective of drafting the Constitution was to limit the king's powers, then Louis XVI. Thus, the powers were separated and assigned to the different institutions of the legislature, executive, and judiciary. And France became a constitutional monarchy. But the Constitution did not provide every citizen with the equal right to vote. The Constitution came into effect with the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen.
