Detailed Solution

The period of the reign of the Slave Dynasty was 1206-1290 AD.
Slave Dynasty is another name for the Mamluk dynasty. Meaning "owned," the term "Mamluk" refers to a prominent military aristocracy that first appeared in the Islamic Empire of the Abbasid caliphs in the ninth century CE. In Egypt, Iraq, and India, the Mamluks possessed both military and political authority. They were usually generals and soldiers who battled for their owners, yet despite being slaves, they were highly respected. Qutbuddin Aibak established the Delhi Sultanate. Being a slave himself, the dynasty he established came to be known as the Mamluk or the Slave dynasty.
